On Saturday 3rd June another bucket collection was held outside the Notts County Cricket Club where England was playing Sri Lanka. It was a lovely sunny morning and with the help of some fantastic people holding buckets we raised £810.62. Our thanks to all those who managed to come and help despite there being a bus strike on the day. A big thank you to those attending the match who gave their loose change, your generosity is much appreciated.

A team of 20 volunteers each filled a bucket full of cash outside the packed game. the Nottingham Council for Voluntary Service.
Paul Randall from the Nottingham Council for Voluntary Service was amongst the volunteers and said: "It was a fantastic day and he said the reaction from cricket fans was positive".
"We got a good response from people. We had flyers to give out to people to explain why we were raising money and who Danielle is, especially for people who aren't from our area who perhaps recognised the name but weren't sure.
"There was one man who took a leaflet and read it and then on his way back in the car he wound down his window and gave us some money because he thought it was a good cause."
